Mona Miller

Master Gemologist Appraiser®

Mona Miller is the owner of Pacific Gemological Laboratory, in Portland Oregon. She has been actively involved in the gem & jewelry trade since 1980.

Mona is re-certified through professional affiliation examinations via the American Gem Society (AGS) on a yearly basis , and via the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) every two years. All business is conducted in conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Appraisal Foundation, and the Principles of Appraisal Practice and Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers.

Bradley C. Pear

Brad

Brad has been active in the jewelry business since 1979 and has extensive experience with high-end diamonds, colored gemstones and watches. He joined us in 2015, relocating from the Metro Detroit area where he was co-owner of Campanelli & Pear, a retail jewelry store, and was for many years the appraiser at Detroit’s most exclusive jewelry salon, Jules R. Schubot Jewellers. Brad was thrilled to make the move to Portland and join PGL’s talented team of appraisers/gemologists.

Brad is re-certified through professional affiliation examinations via the American Gem Society (AGS) on a yearly basis, and via the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) every two years.

Jessie English

Jessie Picture

Jessie has worked in the vintage and antique jewelry business for over 20 years. She is a self-professed antique jewelry “geek”, who loves to talk to people about their jewelry and jewelry history. She has taught classes on materials identification and hosted jewelry identification events in Portland, OR and at national jewelry events.

Jessie joined us in January, 2020, after completing her GG in 2019. She is currently assisting the lab and appraising, excited to continue her education as a gemologist appraiser.
