Pacific Gemological Laboratory, Inc. (P.G.L.), located in downtown Portland, is one of
the Pacific Northwest's oldest (established 1988) and leading jewelry appraisal services, offering a wide range of expertise
in all matters relating to jewelry.
Pacific Gem Lab prepares professional, accurate, and affordable jewelry appraisals, certifications, diamond grading, and colored stone identifications, consulting services, expert witness, lecture and seminars. In most cases, our expert staff can assist you while you wait. We accept special appointments for multiple or complex appraisals and large estates. We also have a complete portable laboratory available for travel to off-site locations. Pacific Gem Lab is owned by Mona Miller-Smith, a resident G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist (GG), Senior Member - Master Gemologist Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA); Accredited Senior Gemologist, AGA; Senior Member, National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) & member of Jewelers Viligence Committee. Joining Ms.Miller-Smith at P.G.L. is Linda McNally, GG and Gretchen Mueller GG. It is our sincere wish to be your source for your jewelry appraisal business.
